How much Security Deposit will I owe?
- The Highlands Apartments are located on Villa Drive off of Whitestown Road in Butler Township. Our office is located on Duffy Road. Visit the "location" tab above for maps.
Are there laundry facilities on-site?
- YES! While there are no laundry hook-ups in each unit, each building is equipped with coin-operated laundry machines on the first floor.
What utilities are included?
- The Highlands Apartments pays for Water, Sewer, and Garbage. There is no gas, so your only utility bill is Electric. But, be sure to consider phone, cable, and internet, if you choose to utilize those services.
Do you allow pets?
- While we love our four-legged friends as much as anyone, we unfortunately cannot permit pets on the premises, even for visits.
Is extra storage available?
- YES! We have 76 storage lockers (approximately, 4' x 8' x 8') available to rent.
Do you require Renter's Insurance?
- YES! The Highlands Apartments requires each tenant to maintain a Renter's Insurance policy with a minimum of $300,000 liability coverage. Per our lease, The Highlands Apartments should also be listed on the policy to be notified of any lapse in coverage.
How much Security Deposit will I owe?
- For about 95% of residents, the security deposit owed will be equal to one month's rent. However, during the application process, The Highlands Apartments will do a credit check. If the average of your three credit scores is less than 650, an increased security deposit will be required.
